and in OneNote I let them use the drawing tools to like color the smile when its time to move it as opposed to using a game piece but here in Google slides I made happy face game pieces using the shape tool and I do the exact same thing of these games as with the other one okay finally the last couple games I have here Ive created some columns learning games and one is a three column game where I would use this to help practice something that naturally fits into maybe three different columns in terms of in this case adding endings whether they would drop an e before adding the ending they would just add it or they have to writing college essay change a Y to an i or they have to double because of the CDC on the end so that is a good one for a three column sword and then they roll the die and depending on what they will be pulled down one of these pieces they pull down the number they get once all ten come down if they would get there ten down before you get your ten down they win the round and then they start putting them back up again and we just keep pulling them back up and down as long as we have words to practice and then here is a two column sword which works really well for a lot of things such as practicing spelling AI versus a y would be a good example or practicing spelling words maybe some of the words up shorty and some have short I and you want and to practice hearing the difference so you can have two columns labeled that way or any other concept that would fit using a two column sort that would work here and thats another one that I have up here now I would not include this or in my book or send it but this is a free game board that I just downloaded and found on the internet and uploaded into Google side so I use this for personal use but for copyright reasons I would not share that or share a link that included that and I created game pieces but its the same principle and same thing with this game that I uploaded from Google site are from the internet it was free game board again I just use it for personal use and its just I have a variety and to be honest we almost never my students almost never go down there and pick that one but they were writing college essayones that I found that I uploaded so it shows you you know you can probably find ones on the web that you can upload into your file so once I have all these games ready just as I explained to you I opened my Google files and I find the way to open it the most quickly is to keep it on my bookmarks bar right here and when I click on it then it opens directly into this file and it opens much more quickly than if I went an open Google Drive and did it that way all right so Ive shown you some of these games and hopefully youve gotten an idea of how the benefit of using generic games that can be used for anything as opposed to games that very specifically target certain types of words thats fantastic and great to have those especially the things that you know many students need practice on but the benefit of these is that they can really be used for literally anything that you want to teach or practice so let me go ahead and show you how you can make some
