Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Massachusetts, Charlotte, VA, Washington, Georgia, Delaware, San Diego, how to write an good essay just makes your writing sound a bit less like clunky a bit like this is an essay this is what im writing like just to make it seem like youre actually a good writer as well and using like actual literary techniques in your own writing if you have a bit of alliteration if you can have some assonance if you can make some kind of internal rhyme in your sentences obviously dont go overboard and like try and write your essay in my extended metaphors just anything to like show that youre thinking about the fact that youre writing as well if I feel like Im describing a specific techniques to say the writer is use alliteration here and I think it creates a nice effect if you can use alliteration in describing the alliteration those are just little things that make it like seem like youre consciously trying to write in a nice way when the person is reading it it makes it nicer for them to read anyway it just sounds nicer theres some sort of like creativity there right the last section is referencing I feel like referencing its such a big thing that people complain about Ive never understood the struggle with this I feel like its such a big university you mean for like referencing to just be the devil Ive never had a problem with referencing my problem was writing the essay referencing is like a godsend compared to actually write in the essay I actually like genuinely enjoy doing referencing awesome right in my essay I probably put again because how to write an good essay Im like an order freak the reason I quite like doing it is because Ill actually do it as like a form of procrastination if I feel like Ive just been literally writing this essay Im stuck I dont know what the hell to write anymore I dont want to do this anymore then Ill just do the referencing youll be using some kind of referencing system I usually use Chicago and it depends on the subjects but yeah you follow some sort of methodical gotta have the title in italics youve gotta have the date it was written but I find that as like a form of good procrastination Im like if I cant write the essay anymore Im just gonna do the referencing for you know a half an hour obviously the benefit to that is it helps you in the long run because youre getting the referencing done as you go along I think that is the main problem people have leaving the referencing all to the end like sis just dont do that I always always always do my referencing as I go along it just makes sense to me to do it that way Ive never thought sit just leave it to the end anyway yeah just dont be that person who leaves it all to the end and has this like obscure quote that you just wrote down and you have no idea where youre going from and you google it its not coming up I always have a separate document open so when Im writing essays Ill usually have three documents at least and its always a plan at least one like the draft Im writing in and the bibliography every single thing Im how to write an good essayreading it doesnt need to be obviously in the referencing style for then Ill just have the quote at least have like the person who said it or like what text its from like what book which essay wherever and the page number and Ill just be compiling that as I go along I can imagine the frustration if you have this quo and you wrote it down like two weeks ago but you have no idea where it came from because you didnt even write an author a page number anything in terms of actually just how to reference hopefully all universities have this but we have like a section and are like University website like of course I think its called like integrity or something and its like the guides of how to follow certain referencing systems obviously they all have slightly different ways whether the footnotes count whether you cite in the footnotes or in the actual text there are guides online as well where you can just kind of look up how to do it in certain referencing styles I think the problem most people do have is just leaving all too last-minute just do it as you go and it just it doesnt become a problem the bibliography like I said because its in how to write an good essay
