The real, unequivocal end is here.
Harmon was a old man. He was very small, and he had no friends. He lived with his parents in a little house on the corner of a street. Every day, Harmon's mom would take him to school and then go to work. When she came home, Harmon would play with his toys while she cooked dinner.
One day, Harmon saw a poster on the wall of a local store that said: "House of Representatives Mascot Contest! Win $1000!"
Harmon's mom told him not to go near the poster because it might be dangerous or bad for him. But Harmon was curious about what kind of contest it was. So one day when she left for work, he climbed up onto the roof of their house and looked down at the poster from above.
"Whoa!" he said to himself as he read about how you could win $1000 if you won first place! It sounded like an amazing opportunity for someone like him who didn't have any friends or family yet! He'd never even been inside a house before—he couldn't believe how cool this contest sounded!
So Harmon went back into his room and told his parents that he wanted to enter the contest.
