The Boomerlanding
145 Million B.C.E.
Harmon, on an expedition from the Kingdom of Deseret, discovers Boomerland out of anger from a recently lost war.
The Crowning
144 Million B.C.E.
Harmon is crowned Emperor Harmon by Pope Kyle LV.
The Construction
143 Million B.C.E.
Harmon Harbor is constructed as the first capital and, further inland on this island, Old York City begins to be built as well.
The Boring Period
143 Million B.C.E. - 25 Million B.C.E
Nothing really happens at all during this time. The dinosaurs are wiped out, I guess. Who cares.
The Invasion
24 Million B.C.E.
Harmon and his Harmy invade the western portion of the island, currently controlled by the Old Countriers. They win and annex this portion of the island. BaldBurg is established
The Deconstruction
13 Million B.C.E.
Triassic Town is hit by Typhurricyclone Haulgh and wiped off the map. 13 Thousand die, but the town is rebuilt with better levies.
The Second Boring Era
13 Million B.C.E. - 100,000 B.C.E.
Nothing happens like at all.
The Preservation
98,000 B.C.E.
The Wrinkle Range and Boom Beach are declared as sacred national parks to not be developed further in. El Boomer is founded.
The Roman War
400 B.C.E.
After a boring stint, the Romans go to war with Boomerland. This war goes on until the collapse of the Roman Empire. A small village known as Oldesville is declared an official city.
The Kingsman
1004 C.E.
After a few hundred years and the end of the Roman War, King Harmon overthrows Emperor Harmon and the country becomes a monarchy.
The Booming
1457 C.E.
Gold is found in the hills and a large influx of elderly and false elderly move in. Boomtown is established and grows to be the second largest city very quickly.
The Great War
1899 C.E. - 1924 C.E.
After King Harmon was deposed, Kaiser Harmon comes into power. He takes the side of the Central Powers and Boomerland is invaded by the Allies. Kaiser Harmon is ousted.
The Wyomening
1939 C.E. - 1950 C.E.
President Harmon is elected into office after the deposition of Kaiser Harmon. Wyoming declares war on Boomerland, and after a year of fighting, the Boomerland flag rises above Old York City, signalling a victory for Boomerland.
The Neutrality
1950 C.E. - 2020 C.E.
After being neutral in World War II, President Harmon signs an official declaration of Neutrality, remaining neutral throughout the Cold War and into the 2000s.
The Turbulent Times
2021 C.E. - 2023 C.E.
Boomerland enters a period of chaos. In late 2021, a socialist coup occurs placing Premiere Comrade Harmon in power. A civil war breaks out and the socialists are defeated, placing President Harmon back in power. Next, a thick, mind-controlling fog rolls in and is fought out by local heroes. Gavin Ransom is elected vice president, and severe flooding around Boomerland causes the nation to go to war with the Ocean. On the bright side, Geriatropolis is admitted as a city.
