The infamous jazz singer, Laufey has announced her up-and-coming third album! Lauvers, the name of her fanbase, is roaring with excitement worldwide. The fans theorized what the songs may be, as her recent second album was filled with hopelessly romantic songs. Fans often leak artists’ work after new creations get announced, and Laufey isn’t safe from this. Many of these unknown online personas have already leaked her work. While the artist loves the classics, recently, it has been rumored that she has a certain hatred for a classic author. 

Laufey has been known to love the classics, basing her music off of classic jazz, she even has a song referencing Chet Baker, and covered classics in the jazz industry. With this in mind, consumers would think that she also loves classic authors, though, with rumors now combined with the new leaks of her album, it seems she has a personal hatred for the famous author Franz Kafka. 

While Laufey is not a rapper, it seems she has taken part in the distrack culture. Who knew there would be dis-tracks in the classical jazz-inspired genre? In the leaks by an anonymous X (formally known as Twitter) user, there are audio clips of the new album. In one of the clips, Laufey directly mentions Kafka, stating that he has broken her heart and now she seeks revenge upon him. In another clip, her beautiful voice sings of how Kafka was and is a horrible writer, how he was not as hopelessly romantic as he thinks he is. This is all so strange, as  Kafka died in 1924, yet Laufey sings as if she knew him personally, perhaps even romantically. Lauvers are trying to make sense of this odd situation while the singer stays silent, her social media neglected, and avoiding the press. Laufey's twin sister, Junia Lin, has also stayed silent, leaving everyone utterly confused, as Laufey has never directly named anyone in her music.  For the time being, everyone will stay clueless until Laufey or her team speaks out to confirm or deny what is going on.
