Aaliyah Cabrales is a freshman at University Preparatory High School and is very involved in her academics. This is her first year in Journalism, and she is very excited to see how this class can improve her writing skills. She will be a writer on the Newspaper Team. She is passionate about music and reading and wants to pursue something that involves some sort of an adrenaline rush.

Aaliyah enjoys the beach and 90’s/00’s movies. She is very athletic and does track, cross country, and soccer. She also likes spending time with her family and friends. After high school, she’s planning to become an airline pilot, considering she loves all the aspects of flying.
