Skylar Gutierrez, a UPHS Senior, is the Co-Head Editor of the Newspaper team. She joined this production because she has a passion for writing, and she wants to provide news and information to a larger audience. Her goal for this year is to improve her editing skills and write more opinion pieces. She is proud of how far she has come in terms of her English and literature skills, and she hopes to continue making improvements. 

Additionally, her outside hobbies include reading, seeing friends, and watching an unhealthy amount of reality television. Her post high school plans include majoring in English and working in publishing, yet nothing is set in stone.
