Rey is a new member of the PNN team and as a Sophomore, he’s excited to learn and is optimistic for the year’s opportunities. Rey believes all can become a more refined version in order to be better for themselves and others. He’s had a call to the journalism team and, captured by its amazement. After being recommended by a team leader Freshman year and motivated by its principal Rey has never felt more welcomed to be a part of the team. The importance of knowing what we love and why we do it defines who he is. Being raised in the small community of North Visalia he’d make connections between learning and growth. Today he can put those efforts into action and raise the quality of this year's school news channel. 

Through child curiosity, Rey found himself involved with Science Olympiad, Orquestra, and Journalism, specifically video editing. In his free time, he consumed video essay after video essay expanding his general knowledge and interests. Rey loves tackling a great concept and explaining it internally or asked. The qualities of being Civil, enjoyable, and positive while creating a strong spheres is the environment Rey wants to see.
