Megan O'Dell

"Get Busy Living, Or Get Busy Dying." -Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins)

Megan O’Dell is currently a part of the Journalism team at University Preparatory High School (UPHS). She joined Journalism’s Yearbook team as a Junior and is developing new skills to tackle this year. The team is responsible for designing and putting together the UPHS annual Paw Print yearbook. Making a cohesive and successful yearbook requires teamwork and communication. As a member of the team she is responsible for editing pages, organizing photos, and finding sponsors for our yearbook team. She is hopeful for the coming year and is eager to learn.

Megan prides herself on her resilience in and out of the classroom. She is constantly striving to improve, to do more than the minimum. Even outside of school she is working for a purpose. She can be found at home doing next week's homework, volunteering at church or the hospital. No one can always be going at 100%, and Megan is no exception. To relax, she spends time journaling, watching her favorite show, or jamming out to her favorite music. Even so, intention is very important to her. She lives to make tomorrow easier. After high school she intends to have finished her Associates degree and head straight to a four year college where she can become a Registered Nurse (RN). She is a Junior in Journalism now, but aspires to live her life, serving others.

Five words to describe Megan O’Dell are: Sincere, Ambitious, Considerate, Resourceful, and Dedicated.
