Dylan Asunto

Favorite Quote: “The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!” —Marvin Phillips

Dylan Asunto, UPHS senior, is a graphic designer for the Social Media team and an editor for the PNN website. Coming in as a transfer student from New York City for his sophomore year, he made it his goal to cultivate a growth mindset and widen his palette of personal hobbies. He is especially proud of his achievements over the past two years, using that success to set the bar even higher for himself as he prepares for college. After high school, college and medical school are his main priorities, which set him up for a strong career in radiology.

Dylan took the lessons on growth mindsets from the first week of the school year to heart and stands true to it. If you fear change and refuse to switch things up every so often, how many opportunities in life end up escaping your gaze? He strives to live life uncomfortably purely because he restricted himself so much growing up. His high school years are a new chapter of his life, and every major character must grow so as to not bore the reader.

In his free time, he tries to keep the ball rolling with a wide variety of hobbies. He enjoys cooking, playing music, graphic design, poetry, singing, cardistry, and video editing.

Five words to describe him include: Devoted, Youthful, Liberal, Apt, and Nifty.
