Election Day is next month, November 5th, and thanks to the 26th Amendment, some older seniors can vote in the upcoming presidential election! When pre-registering to vote, everything is on the website. Before doing so, there are criteria individuals must meet to pre-register. The person must be 16 or 17 years old, and a citizen of the United States through natural-born, or naturalization. As citizens, the system expects to have a record void of felonies. If the figure meets standards, they are ready for the steps to pre-registering.
The first step is to grab the nearest device and go to the website, RegisterToVote.ca.gov. After it loads, click the button containing the words ‘Pre-Register to Vote.’ After clicking, five sections of questions and information will appear. Here, the person registering fills out particular details such as their full name, contact info, date of birth, and more personal information. After answering the questions, wait until Election Day, and cast a ballot for the next future candidate.
