MATJE Construction has been retained to perform grading and earthwork for a high school campus project. The project area encompasses 16,800 m2 field. The school will remain fully functional during the course of the project and the MATJE Construction team will ensure any inconveniences to school activities are addressed throughout the project.
The grading project has been divided into 4 sections as follows:
The project is located in Guangzhou, China.
Construction work will be completed on weekdays only from 7 am to 4 pm. No work will be completed on weekends, at night or during any Chinese Statutory Holidays.

Construction work for the grading will be completed by 2 separate crews working simultaneously in different areas onsite to decrease project completion time. The crews will be comprised of the following equipment and personnel listed below for each activity on the project:
The number of trucks and dozers varies based on the activity to maximize resource usage efficiency, and to reduce the direct cost for the project. The trucks will be used to dispose of excess earthwork to a disposal site located 30 km away for the job site. The number of trucks used per crew was capped at 10 to decrease project cost and reduce traffic disruption in the surrounding area.

The total construction cost for the project is estimated to be approximately $810,000.
