Project Description

For maximum efficiency, construction on the site will consist of two crews working simultaneously from the North and South entrances of the site on the west side. Upon completion, the two crews will meet in the middle. However, the priority of this plan is to complete earthwork for section 3 as soon as possible, to create a more convenient pedestrian path for school students and staff.

The earthwork process is facilitated using square cells that are 20 x 20 m. Each cell contains a corresponding "node" which has an assigned cut or fill volume, obtaining the design elevation. Once a node is completed, a haul path between graded nodes can be used for the equipment to pass through to the next node. This process will be conducted for all sections until grading is completed. Excess material will be taken to a waste site 30 km away from the high school campus.
