On-Site Safety Hazard & Risk Assessment

All crew will be required to take a safety course and orientation that will cover all aspects of safety from incident reporting to emergency evacuations. Site maps, safety policies, first aid, and a fire extinguisher will be available in the site trailer.

Crew will be required to wear proper PPE including safety vests, hardhats, safety glasses, steel-toe boots and possibly rain jackets when on site.

In the event of extreme weather or an emergency, staff will follow an evacuation plan and lead crews to safe muster points. The site will be graded to allow access for vehicles in the case of an emergency, and all crew members will also be orientated on emergency services in the area.

With the high humidity and dust, the air quality may fluctuate depending on smog levels. Breathing masks will be supplied to crews and the air quality will be regularly monitored.

Cameras will be placed around the perimeter. A fence will be installed both for security and the safety of the public. On off-hours, the site will remain locked and if there are any incidents of trespassing, a night guard will be hired.
