Material & Equipment Handling: During construction, workers will lift or move around all the materials (mostly soils) and equipments around the site. This may involve several risks and cause workers' injuries.
Slips, Trips and Falls: Since this is a grading project, workers need to perform jobs and walk on uneven terrain. Accident slips, trips or falls are likely to happen on a daily basis.
Moving Objects: Moving objects (especially heavy vehicles) may pose some potential risks to workers walking nearby.
Natural Risk
Since the construction will start on September, higher temperature in site may cause workers' dehydration, loss of strength or concentration.
Storm may happen during summer, this may delay project schedule.
Other natural disasters may happen (but rare) and will shut the construction down.
Safety Plan
Wear Safety Helmet and vest all the time in site
Locate Emergency stations (First aid, eye wash) throughout site
Conduct safety training before construction
Provide enough water and other necessities to prevent dehydration
Add half an hour break in the noon when the weather is too hot
