We are proud to present this earthwork grading project to all stakeholders involved, and provide a clear general idea towards the whole project process. The project is located on a high school campus in Guangzhou, China. The work area is approximately 16770.13 m2 of land that needs to be excavated to a design grade elevation. One main concern that A$AP would like to mention, is that school will be operating normally alongside with the grading project. A$AP will deal with this by eliminating any potential hazards that could put students and teachers at risk. Another concern is the fact that the site is surrounded by two main roads and some existing infrastructure. Additionally, A$AP will deal with any concerns from the public to make sure the project and school function alongside each other without problem.

Some initial project setup is required, temporary construction fencing will be applied to the perimeter of the construction project. This will serve several purposes, such as to eliminate any noise or dust hazards to the surrounding area. As well to deter any students, teachers, or general public from entering into the site.

Additionally, a temporary walkway is required for students and teachers between the east side of the project and the existing road. A pathway will be created and protected by a temporary construction fence. The access will allow a safe path for travel between school buildings during the construction project.

As well , a temporary site lay down will be created in the empty space to the west of the grading area. The south portion of the lay down area is the location of the main entrance. The lay down area will have a site office for things such as:

  • Managers office
  • Parking
  • Lunch and break area,
  • Washrooms,
  • Wash Bay
  • Fuel Station
  • Storage and waste.

The wash bay and fuel station will have a geo-textile liner placed underneath to eliminate any potential for environmental spills

Anyone entering the site will be required to park in the designated parking area and sign in at the main office, and must receive a site orientation before continuing into the work area.
