Course Overview-
This course will build and develop the practical skills, knowledge and understanding you will need to support you on the Fashion and Textiles course. During the course, you will plan, make and evaluate Fashion and Textiles garments and products. The course will look at basic textile construction techniques, how to make basic textile items, a knowledge of fabric properties, characteristics and correct terminology, using trends to influence designs, selecting and using the appropriate equipment, design decisions and reviewing work.
