IS MEDIA FOR ME?
It is if you want to:
· learn about how media saturates everything we do in the developed world in the 21st Century and how to analyse and critique the media to see the ways in which the media pervades our lives.
· Improve literacy skills, learn how to write detailed critiques of the media in a way that’s more intuitive than writing essays for other subjects. Learn a great deal of new terminology much of which can be used in other subjects, including English, the Social Subjects, Design Technology and Science.
· Make your own films, write your own newspapers, set up your own websites, editing software.
