My water bottle logo, if it can be called that, was inspired by a prompt, "water bottle," that I pulled out of a hat. I struggled a bit with this one, as I was befuddled by my prompt, but eventually, I settled on having a water bottle-like shape in the "A." For the FHS logo, I chose to represent my class, which has the graduating year of 2025. Not for any reason, but it was a pretty general and relatable logo for at least a quarter of the school. I'm not sure where the inspiration for the banner being pulled along by the falcon is, but I think it was reminiscent of those planes with insurance ads on them.

For both projects, I used graphite pencils, sharpie markers, and digital editing. For the water bottle logo, I used sketch paper and for the FHS logo, I used drawing paper.

While creating both logos, I started with several very rough sketches in a sketching notebook. These sketches eventually evolved into the ones immediately above this text, with rough lines and a sharpie marker. Little did I know this was not the end of my journey in creating a logo. The next class, using Photoshop Express, I was able to digitally edit both of my logos. For the water bottle logo, I erased the weird waves and pencil marks, edited the shape of the text, and I colored the text in black. For the FHS logo, I focused mostly on getting rid of fuzzy or gray areas to make a clean design. The only other edit I made was getting rid of the messy words and replacing them with clean text.
