Vision held a low key fight night at the Maryhill Central Halls on October the 20th, this event was a bit different than their usual shows at the Kelvin Hall Sports Arena but the change didn't bring any disappointment. The event had a great professional fight headliner consisting of Allan Love v Craig Robertson and also a stacked undercard that had fights from the C-Class tournament that is currently running, all of which provided excitement and the prospect of great future matchups as well as a host of up and coming Scottish talent. Future Vision fight nights are definitely shows to look out for.
Allan Love (DNFT) v Craig Robertson (Shooters)
Round 1
Love works his jab and makes good work of the uppercut early in the first,
Love controls Robertson against the cage working the clinch and throwing
some good knees. Robertson throwing fakes to set up his strikes, both fighters
back to the cage with Love controlling and working the clinch and dirty boxing.
A quick exchange in the centre and love works for the single leg against the cage,
love switches hand position locks in and secures the double leg. Robertson back
to his feet and both fighters striking in centre. Love closes out the round with
kicks.
Round 2
Robertson goes for the takedown early in the second love connects with a shot
and Robertson doesn't secure the takedown, Robertson ends up on the mat,
Love swarms him and rains down blows until the referee steps in and stops the
fight.

John Cullen (DNFT) v Danny Welsh
Round 1
Both fighters out and showing good stand up, quick exchanges from both. Cullen
cuts Welsh who ends up on the ground, Welsh covers up and Cullen strikes until
the referee steps in to stop the fight.

Mark Connor (DNFT) v Josh Foster (Immortal MMA)
Round 1
Both fighters come out and begin to exchange, Foster ducks and gets the
takedown tries to control but Connor gets back to his feet. Connor fakes goes
for the take down and eventually gets it against the cage, Connor gets into half
guard and delivers some good strikes while keeping control. Foster scrambles
and Connor ends up in full guard, Connor finishes the round with strikes from
Fosters guard.
Round 2
A small exchange to begin the second and Connor lands the takedown, some
shots are landed and Foster gives up his back and then ends up mounted by
Connor, Foster scrambles gets to his feet, Connor controls stays with him and
lands some vicious knees to get the knockout victory.

Scott Mulgrew (Lions Den) v Graham Black (Lycans)
Round 1
Black out and in for a quick takedown, Mulgrew bucks trying to roll Black but fails
and Black controls from half guard and advances to mount. Black rains down
some blows with Mulgrew giving up his back, Black takes back control locks in
the rear naked choke and finishes the fight.

Rossco Grieg (Urban Disturbance) v Dave McDonald (Hit Squad)
Round 1
Round starts and McDonald with a quick takedown, McDonald working to keep
position and Grieg working from closed guard. McDonald advances from guard to
half guard continuously working to improve his position, while landing strikes.
Both fighters scramble to their feet with McDonald securing the takedown at the
end of round one.
Round 2
McDonald with another big takedown to start the round, McDonald secures half
guard and begins to work. Grieg tries to improve his position and McDonald
ends up in full guard, McDonald and Greig trade strikes on the ground to end the
round.
Round 3
Grieg throws a good combination to start the third but McDonald changes his
level, gets the takedown and begins to work from full guard. McDonald lands
some big blow from top position and cuts Grieg open, McDonald continues to
strike from the top to close the round and the fight.
Dave McDonald wins via decision.
Callum Murrie (SMAC) v Gav Donnelly (Shooters)
Round 1
Some good shots landing early by both fighters but the fight quickly goes to the
cage wall and Donnelly controls, the fighters break and Murrie tries an
unsuccessful jumping spin kick. The fighters chase each other down end up
against the cage, Donnelly gets the sweep and lands in Murries's guard. Both
fighters continue to work till the end of the round.
Round 2
Murrie is out and tries another spin kick but ends up against the cage with
Donnelly controlling, the fighters break from the cage with Murrie jumping,
pulling Donnely down and into a bad spot. Murrie works and locks in a superb
triangle.

Steven Mcreadie (DNFT) v Chris Bungard (Hit Squad)
Round 1
Both fighters to the centre with Bungard getting the takedown but Mcreadie back
up, Bungard fighting hard for the takedown. Another takedown, a scramble and
Mcreadie getting dominant top position and landing some good shots but with
Bungard defending the ref stands them up. Mcreadie lands a big takedown at the
end of the first round.
Round 2
A low blow by Mcreadie to start the second , the fight is back on and Bungard
gets put on his back, Mcreadie passes and gets into side but Bungard fighting hard
to get up and takes Mcreadie down but can't keep him there. Bungard working
Mcreadie against the cage but gets taken back down and Mcreadie lands on top
and delivers more strong blows but Bungard tries for a leg locks with Mcreadie
slipping out and Bungard getting back to his feet. Mcreadie takes Bungard down
again but doesn't choose to engage and Bungard is stood back up and the round
comes to a close.
Round 3
Bungard fakes and goes for the takedown but is unsuccessful and gets taken down
himself, Mcreadie gets into side lands some shots, Mcreadie gets back to his feet
lands some kicks but passes and gets back into side control. Mcreadie works
some knees and shots from the side trying to control Bungard, Bungard
eventually gets back to his feet and the fighters engage with Bungard going for
another unsuccessful takedown. The referee stands Bungard up and Mcreadie
lands a big takedown at the end of the third.
Steven Mcreadie wins via decision.
Mick Rogers (Hit Squad) v Scott Coats (Gladiatorial)
Round 1
Rogers out and taking the fight to the cage wall, some grappling and Coats turns
it around and gets in control. Coats secures the takedown, gets into full
mount and takes the back of Rogers, Rogers escapes from the back and gets the
top position in guard. Rogers lands some good shots from the top defending
submissions from Coats. Coats works for the submission and eventually locks in
the armbar.
