Its almost that time again , no not hammer time , but SFC time !! Yes , its time for all us fans of MMA descend or ascend to the fair shadows of the majestic Stirling castle, deep into the very heart of Scotland for SFC 4.
SFC4 originally promising the highly touted and highly anticipated Read vs Cullen rematch, a bout now rescheduled for SFC 5, even losing such a promising battle from the headline , the card is still overly stacked , again promising to be one of Scotland’s premier MMA shows of 2011.
SFC4 will see the return of the Mighty Bobby” Black Mamba” McVitie to defend his lightweight title against the rising Danny “ Boomtime” Gray. Danny will have to bring his A game to this as Bobby has a habit of spectacular performances under the SFC banner , this will be an epic fight .
Also on the night, up for grabs will be the vacant welterweight title, this will be resolved with a clash of the ages, the oversized Scott “ the body “ Ward, a D- unit standout will clash with fifes very own Steve “fuckin “ Ray . Ward coming off a defeat to highly regarded welterweight stand out and Ross Pearson training partner Ryan Scope will be looking to show the Scottish fans why he is rated as one of the best, if not the best welterweight in the country, but he will be fighting no can !! the man standing across the cage – Steve Fucking Ray is no Slouch , recent wins against top competition have seen his stock rise , representing Edge MMA, Steve “Fuckin” Ray is the current Total Combat welterweight champion and will be looking to add some more gold to his hips!! .
With undoubtedly two the the top welterweights in the Scotland battling it out for the SFC strap this for me , has the possible writings of “fight of the year”.
Other ready to battle for glory and entertainment , look out for Neil laird a vicious and precise striker with underrated and very slick submissions , he is on the rise!! and a heavy weight showdown , with some serious bomb singers , don't blink for Hillhouse Bedlam
What can one say , be there its going to be fracking awesome .
Check out our pics and article from the last SFC3 tor recap before the day .
TO ALL THOSE FIGHTING STAY SAFE AND FIGHT AHRD .
