SFC Re-Awakening – Short Preview
On the 30th of June one of Scotland’s top MMA promotions will return, SFC will be Re-awakened . This re awakening is due in part to a short change in course as the SFC promotion dumped the SFC brand to team up with Swedish MMA promotions Vision FC, after a few successful shows inclusive of BJJ tournaments and Fitness exhibitions in both Scotland and Sweden, the SFC crew have broke away from the Vision brand and returned to there promotional roots, to re-awake the previously dormant brand.
This weekends (June 30th ) will see some of the most dedicated, talented and skilled warriors Scotland has to offer! The card for the rebirth of the promotion is packing a big punch with fighters like Shaun “The Disgrace” Taylor, Taylor a self styled HEEL has been referenced in the media as Scotland’s answer to Chael Sonnen. As well as “The Disgrace” the current two promotion Champ Martin Delaney will be representing, his machine like strength, cardio and skill, Delaney is one to watch for he's truly one of Scotland’s best hopes for UFC star dome. Finally the card will be Headlined by two Scotsman in Robert Whiteford a heavy hitter with a strong grappling background training out of the DNFT and Paul Reed of the Olympians . Paul Reeds previous encounters in the mighty Albert hall Stirling have seen the crowd enter a near riotous mode as his opponent John Cullen mounted the cage and whipped the crowd into a “one more round” chant forcing Reids hand to fight another round . Both these athletes are top European level MMA artists and will put everything on the line for our entertainment.
No matter what happens Sunday in Stirling, we here at The Real MMA Show are happy and excited to be going back to the Albert hall and believe that this move to down size the venue, the production costs and in general the scale, whilst keeping European level MMA action is definitely a positive move for both the SFC and Scottish MMA.
