CACH II How to Plan Community Projects

In 2013, the AAP Community Pediatrics Training Initiative brought together several experts in resident advocacy training to develop a set of short videos on working with communities.

These short videos with accompanying worksheets, provide an introduction to the basic values, principles, and methods of developing a community-based initiative.

Community pediatricians, residents, and academic faculty can use these resources to strengthen their skills and their confidence to plan successful community projects.

These will help you think through the Project Planning Tool- the Worksheets are very similar to much of what you will already be doing.

Watch the videos as you are thinking about what you want to learn about. What do you learn from them? There will be a couple of trigger questions on the reflective writing you will do later.
