Located in the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital lobby at front entrance (across from admitting desk).

Experience: This is a one-time experience for approximately 90 minutes. Safety Center staff will provide information on the resources available at the center and common injuries in childhood. Residents will have the opportunity to observe injury prevention counseling with families and learn car seat installation. Specific information regarding available safety equipment will be provided.

Required experiences during visit:

1) Make sure to view a car seat installation

2) Make sure to find and assess a gun safe and trigger lock
