-Prep Work:
a. Review note template
When residents or students join the clinic, they typically listen in and document in the clinic note. The clinic note template is used, and the dot phrase is .GDCLINICNOTE. This template was originally created for initial visits, many parts of the template can be deleted for return visits. The clinic context in Epic is “Ped Endocrinology CW.” The new patients all have a phone intake with the social worker, Jess Guerriero, so you can look for their notes. The first new patient appointment starts at 9.
