Prelude & Chapter One Comments
The story was first published on March 3, 2015, exactly one year after the completion of it's prequel, Ano Sentaku Bou.
The prelude chapter was actually written in August 2014. Little fixes were made here and there between then and it's premiere on March 3, 2015.
The prelude is primarily a repeat of Zafina's bio with additions based on the events of the series.
Zafina's narration was a nod to Dhalsim's narration in the prelude chapter of Ano Sentaku Bou.
The first scene of Chapter 1 involving Zafina and Quan Chi was written in October 2014. Like with the prelude chapter, little fixes were made here and there between that time and it's premiere on March 3, 2015.
The flashback of Quan Chi finding the temple was taken from the final chapter of Ano Sentaku Bou.
The inscription Quan Chi translated in the flashback scene is officially revealed in this chapter.
The second half of the story was written in January 2014, less than 2 months before the fic's debut.
The dream sequence in the second scene was based on two scenes from two different opening movies from Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.
The Guru Zafina sees is the man who appears in her Tekken 6 ending.
