Biography

In the aftermath of the Universal War, Sareena returned with Sub-Zero to the Lin Kuei headquarters in Arctika. There, the clan would help with recovery and rebuilding. Her efforts during the war also gained what she had wanted since she escaped the Netherrealm; respect from the other clan members. During this time, she and Sub-Zero had grown more close, though they agreed to keep things quiet. However, the peace would not last for long; not even a year later, war was declared against the world by the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Not long after, the new Protector of Earthrealm, Liu Kang, approached Sub-Zero about helping to fight against the latest threat at the Shikoken Tournament. When offered, Sareena naturally chose to accompany Sub-Zero to the tournament.
