Biography

Edenia was in shambles after the Universal War, which had left many who needed any kind of aide they could get. As Princess, Kitana oversaw her realm's recovery. Though Jade and the Edenian Knights helped with what they could, it was the Manji Clan who were most helpful with providing the resources they needed. All the work kept Kitana busy, but in those quiet moments, her mind drifted to the day she was free from Shao Kahn's brainwashing. Before awakening, an apparition appeared before her, one of a figure she had not seen in a long time – Liu Kang.

A year after the war, to Kitana's shock, Liu Kang showed up. The new Protector of Earthrealm told her of the current war there as well as an upcoming tournament. He wanted her, Jade, and Queen Sindel to attend in order to prevent the war from spilling into other realms. Not wanting Edenia to fall apart again, Kitana accepts the invitation.
