Biography

As promised to Bo' Rai Cho, Kung Lao returned to the Shaolin Temple and began to perform good deeds in the aftermath of the Universal War. The surrounding villages were in need of aide and the monks provided with as much food, shelter, and basic medical care they could give. The Manji Clan were also a big help with their assistance thanks to Kung Lao's association with their leader, Yoshimitsu.

A year later, Kung Lao was shocked when he was visited by his friend and brother, Liu Kang, the new Protector of Earth. Kung Lao knew about the current war, but with the new tournament and a looming threat, Kung Lao realized that it must be stopped. He decides to attend the Shikoken Tournament to help Liu Kang and their allies.
