Biography

Inspired by her mentor, Bo' Rai Cho, Li Mei decided to stay in Outworld to assist the surviving civilians. Later joined by the enigma, Ermac, the three of them assisted with rebuilding and recovery, even with the looming threat when word of Quan Chi taking over the throne reached them. However, the new forces were occupied with other matters for now. Though still haunted by dark memories, Li Mei's assistance had given her a new purpose.

A year after the end of the Universal War, Bo' Rai Cho's student and Earth's new protector, Liu Kang, showed up. Through him, they learned of Quan Chi's involvement with the war on Earth, and he wished for them to attend an upcoming tournament to help out. With this new threat, Li Mei decides to help.
