Chapter Four Comments
-Originally, Kano and Doctrine Dark were going to be introduced in this chapter, but due to the length of this chapter, they were moved to Chapter 6.
-Yes... I set up that first scene just for Lee to say that certain line on purpose. =P
-I took creative liberty in naming Lee's secretary, Miss Chieko Umeda, since she doesn't have a name in the games.
-Lee's beginning is a nod to his Tekken 6 bio.
-Lars and Alisa's scenes is exact from the beginning of Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign... only the end of the last scene is slightly changed to match with this story.
-You know what happens when a soldier is named Jenkins... they don't live for long. =P
-The alliance between the Manji Clan and the Lin Kuei was established near the end of Ano Sentaku Bou.
-Though mentioned a few times previously in this story, this is Yoshimitsu's first official appearance.
-Sub-Zero greeting with 'Welcome back, Yoshimitsu,' is a nod to the two intro scenes for the latter in the two previous fics.
-Ukon was a mentioned character in the Soulcalibur series as one of two close allies of Yoshimitsu (thus in this series, it would make him a native of Keisei). His other ally is Sakon, who is mentioned by Sub-Zero in a later scene. They'll be some of the minor characters involved in this story.
-Due to the popularity of Smoke's human form in MK 2011, I've decided to somewhat reverse his automation in this story. However, as seen here, he still has his cybernetics within his body... he only looks human on the outside with the exception of his eyes.
-As mentioned, Yoshimitsu now carries two swords like he has since Tekken 6. Also, it's hinted that the reason for it will be explained in the future.
-This is the first time where Smoke's real name, Tomas Vrbada, is revealed in the fic.
-Smoke looking forward to demand a mirror after waking up was a nod to the first Batman movie.
-The static sound of the recording activating Alisa's pod was added due to the fact that I kept missing the dialogue that was being said in that scene.
-The decision to add Stryker to the Special Forces team is to give him more allies to associate with. This also serves to make it easier to give him the spy role I gave him in this scene.
