Hilde's speech forgiving Siegfried's sins come straight from her Soulcalibur IV ending.
-The stagecoach idea was featured last time in ASB.
-The Macau scene was very, very slightly inspired by the first episode of Mortal Kombat Legacy II, but which is a lot less depressing.
-The name Chris for Guile's second daughter was actually Amy's name in the Japanese version of the Street Fighter franchise like how Akuma is called Gouki there.
-It's mentioned how Wagner being a Sergeant 'felt like a lifetime.' It's sort of a nod to his promotion to that rank back in the fic, Air Force Legacy. His promotion happened in the final chapter of the story... and that was written in 2005, 10 years before this chapter of MSK was posted.
-'How Am I Supposed to Live Without You' was picked at random for the horrible karaoke singing by a random stranger.
-Lili attending the same school as Asuka was a nod to, well... both of their Tekken Tag Tournament II endings.
-The hot dog eating contest mentioned between Sakura and Karin was a nod to the Udon comics.
-Sakura mentions about the competition on Coney Island in America. The real-life event is called, 'Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest,' which is held every year on Independence Day on Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY.
-The entirety of most of the intro scene with King, Marduk, Poison, and Hugo, came straight from one of the Street Fighter x Tekken promotional trailer.
-Leo's introduction was based on her scene in one of the Tekken 6 opening intros.
