Biography

For quite a number of years, Mike Haggar, a former wrestler in the professional circuit, served as Mayor of Metro City. He single handedly cleaned up most of the city of crime and was most famous for rescuing his daughter Jessica from the now-defunct Mad Gear gang. He also helped with security, safety, and quelling the chaos in the city during the Universal War. Now with his latest term coming to a close, Haggar decided to run for a new position – President of the United States.

The Mishima Zaibatsu declared war on the world during the primaries. While most politicians used the war as a platform for their campaign, Haggar decided to take action, especially once the Mishima Zaibatsu announces the Shikoken Tournament. Seeing an opportunity to get close to the corporation and end their tyranny, Haggar makes the decision to attend the tournament, even if it means dropping out of the presidential race.
