Chapter Two Comments
-Parts of this chapter was written in November 2014, and later January 2015.
-Between this, and the other two prequels in the series, this is the first time where I have a previously-introduced character reappear while the intro chapters are still ongoing. This is to help with story consistency as well as adding more to the 'show' rather than 'tell.'
-This is also the first time where the stories jump around time. Again, for story consistency.
-Jin's greeting the Tekken Force is similar to the scene in the Tekken 6 opening cinematic.
-This chapter confirms that the events of Tekken 5 took place in between the last fic and this one.
-I only told of Jin's encounter with his great-grandfather, Jinpachi, rather than putting in a flashback scene to show what happened was done to save some page-length.
-The promise Kung Lao mentions to Kai was stated back in ASB around Chapter 92.
-The dome-like building, as well as the G-Corp dinner conference, were previously mentioned in the last chapter.
-The inside of the dome-like building possesses similarities to Quan Chi's Fortress, which is a stage from MK Deadly Alliance and Deception. Like the fortress, the dome also features Quan Chi's inner sanctum chamber.
-The plane crash Bruce mentions is part of his story from Tekken 2.
-Initially, I was going to have Liu Kang speak to the Elder Gods about gathering the chosen ones again. However, I decided to skip that and have the talk already done in order to condense this chapter.
-This chapter mainly gives more details on that would've been the lead-up to the 6th King of Iron Fist Tournament. However, with creative liberty involved, Jin announces a tournament with a different name.
-Shikoken is Japanese for 'Supreme Fist.'
