Biography

A soldier of the Coastal Forces and a student of Seong Han-myeong, Yun-seong was a brash young man, though his heart was usually in the right place. From childhood, he had idolized his teacher's most prized student, Hwang, and wished to challenge him in a sparring match in order to surpass his superiority. Hwang had rejected the offer at the time due to the war between Lee Dynasty and the Ryukyu Kingdom. It was only later that Yun-seong realized, after being given the dao White Storm by his master's daughter, Mi-na, that he should pursue such a goal for personal reasons. Hearing about the 'sword of salvation,' Yun-seong began his search for it in order to impress both his teacher and Hwang. It was during these travels where he met a young lady named Talim, who told him the true nature of the sword. Later, during the Universal War, Yun-seong managed to sneak away from the Coastal Forces Headquarters one night to not only find Talim, but had hoped, despite it's evil nature, to find the sword known as Soul Edge. They were just heading back to Lee Dynasty under Talim's insistence when the war ended... as well as hearing the rumor of Soul Edge's destruction.

One year later, Talim showed up at the Coastal Forces Headquarters. The winds had told her that danger was once more on the way. Her words rang even more true when Hwang and Mi-na were approached to assist in the upcoming fight once more that would reunite them with allies they met and fought alongside during the Universal War. Yun-seong was surprised when Hwang and Mi-na picked him to accompany them to a new world. Nevertheless, it would be his chance to protect his homeland from the incoming dangers.
