Biography

After the Universal War, Lei and his wife, Chun Li, went straight back to work, starting with helping out with recovery. Not long after, Lei and Chun Li found themselves working on separate cases; she with SIN and he with figuring out the events behind the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. Things got worse, however, when the Mishima Zaibatsu declared war after both cases closed, causing more chaos not just in Hong Kong, but all of China.

Lei's reputation as 'the super cop' brought the attention of one Christie Monteiro, who was looking for the whereabouts of both her grandfather and her mentor, Eddy Gordo. She knew that her grandfather was in a Mishima Zaibatsu-owned medical facility, but was not sure where. Between this, and his intention to investigate Mishima Zaibatsu and arrest Jin Kazama, Lei decides to attend the Shikoken Tournament in order to get close.
