Chapter Six Comments
-This chapter explains Ashrah's absence during the events of Ano Sentaku Bou.
-The Outwold Resistance group was created for two reasons; 1) As part of the chaos and order theme of this story, and 2) Not all of Shao Kahn's old minions are going to agree to serve under Quan Chi's new rule.
-The mention of Reptile using his invisibility to cloak both him and Havik is a nod to the MKX comics.
-Kabal mentions 'gold koins,' which is currency used in the MK games.
-Havik mentioning fighting a blind guy who may or may not be one of The Four (and it's obvious who's being talked about) was a nod to that particular fight back in Chishio No Me, Chapter 47.
-The flashback with Cammy and Jin was taken from Chapter 95 of Ano Sentaku Bou.
-Doctrine Dark is the first, and most likely only, featured character coming from the Street Fighter EX series.
-One of the reasons I decided not to have Sophitia participate in this story is not just because her reasons started in the chapter, but mainly because I wanted to provide a little more room in the main cast. I feel that Sophitia doesn't have much to offer compared to the rest of the cast, thus she was cut from the main roster. However, she will most definitely return for Part 4 as I have a lot more ideas for her then.
-Zhangjajie National Forest is an actual forest in China.
-Feng Wei's part in the story is based on his Tekken 6 story line with a little bit of creative liberty. His scene here gives readers a perspective of what it's like to be a chosen one from the eyes of an introvert. A few others will have that point of view as well during this story.
