Chapter Twelve Comments
-Aside from Seong Mi-na, Cassandra, and Siegfried during Ano Sentaku Bou, this is the first time all of the Keisei natives show up on Earthrealm in the series.
-One of the hotels mentioned in the chapter is the Kazumi Hotel, an obvious nod to Heihachi's deceased wife and Kazuya's mother (and Jin's grandmother).
-The city of Avalon mentioned in the chapter is a city on Catalina Island off the coast of California. Mishima Island in this story, though a real place, was modeled after this city, only much grander.
-Originally, the Nepal scene was supposed to take place in Chapter 11, but due to that chapter's length, it was moved to this chapter.
-Ryu is known to have arachnaphobia, which is why he was hoping Julia would get rid of the model tarantula she had in her apartment back in Arizona.
-The conversation on why Forest is getting the cot while Paul and Marshall get the comfy beds was written on the fly.
-Hugo and Poison's argument over what to eat is a nod to a similar argument they had in Street Fighter x Tekken, only in the game, it involved hot dogs and Chinese food.
-The Heart Attack Grill is a real restaurant in Las Vegas with a hospital theme. Poison's comment about what happens when they don't finish their meal implied that she received the traditional paddlin' for not finishing her food.
-The brief run-in between Armor King and Balrog is to help set up their future tag-team partnership.
