Bran is a young magus of Circulus Ruber. He lives his life as an Irish noble, prizing generosity, bravery, and tradition. His blood ties to the O'Neills threaten to intrude into his Hermetic life, but he pays these things no mind and carries on blissfully naive of such weighty matters. Twenty years past his Gauntlet, he has enchanted his Talisman and bound a familiar, and has spent the last few years competing his study of various Arts in order to take an apprentice at the Regional Tribunal of 1227.Bran does not study magic to become more powerful or to expand Hermetic knowledge; he learns spells that are practical and which he uses often. In other words, magic makes his life easier and happier. His parens was visiting Constantinople when the Crusaders attacked it and never returned.
