Rescued by the Archangel Michael, Nerius gained inexplicable powers including the ability to break the Hermetic Laws. He was eventually martyred outside the Normandy covenant of Fudarus, killed by Tytali and Tremere magi. He appeared to the Alpine apprentices in 1212, when they discovered his well in a Divine regio.

Along the way, he encountered with them the lucifuge demon of the Werfen Ice Caves and successfully fought off an attack by Swabian mercenaries before reaching Valnastium and, from there, Constance via Portal Arch.
Kallisto: Akakios's dead mother, slain by Hugh of Flambeau, haunts her son and tries to protect him. Those who can perceive Kallisto see her as a once-lovely woman with a long face, prominent nose, and long dark hair in ringlets. She wears the black dress of her last living day, and wears a bronze amulet. Kallisto has an air of evil about her, and even those who cannot see her feel a chill when she is near. Dogs bark and cats hiss.
