Covenfolk who have game statistics, but who do not merit their own page, are described here. Members of the Turb have their own page.
The turb is divided into several factions, including the Alpine Refugees (who came to Hibernia with the magi), Irishmen hired here, the Black Cloaks of House Tremere, and some Scots who have sworn their service to Sir Blane. You can find them all here.

Irene was a young orphaned woman in Marseilles who fell back on prostitution when she could not find a husband or employment. When she ran afoul of the town magistrate and repented, the Church agreed to give her a second chance by moving her to another city where her reputation would not follow her. Unfortunately, she stuck out in Germany and was not trusted. She found herself again unable to find work without resorting to the sex trade. An enraged canon found out she had fallen back into her old ways and was dragging her to punishment when Rene intervened. That was in 1219.
Irene became a servant in the castle, and was noteworthy as the only servant who spoke French. She was therefore assigned to Lord Aurele de la Croix when he visited in Winter of 1222, and after he took her by force she became pregnant with his child, who would be Samson's half-brother. Irene is due in the fall of 1223.

Jenny is a very attractive young Italian woman who was making ends meet as a seamstress in Lombardy, on the south side of the Alps. She became involved in an affair with a married man, the local butcher, but the two were caught and he, to maintain his innocence, claimed Jenny had bewitched him. Many other women of the town supported this accusation, since their own husbands had shown a bit too much interest in the seamstress as well. Besides, everyone knew she could see into people's hearts, and knew all kinds of terrible things which God fearing folk had no need to know. Jenny fled to the mountain passes but was being pursued by a torch-carrying mob when Rene almost rode her over. Jenny would make a poor fighting Grog but may have other uses in the covenant.
In the early months of 1220, Jenny was the best merchant the covenant had. She arranged early contracts for teamsters and supplies out of Delvin.

Karolina is the daughter of the former bandit, Dobbins, who was rescued from execution by Rene in 1219. Having grown up around bandits, she has learned that to keep a low profile means to stay alive. She craves independence and to be treated as an equal, instead of as "just a girl." She would make an ideal maidservant/spy for a maga or female companion who would treat her with respect and fairness.
Karolina has been taken by Alfeva as a maid, replacing the handsome but feckless Wilhelm. In 1225 she got her first real taste of adventure when Alfeva loaned her to Polumeta for a raid on Queen Mab in Rathcrogan. She was responsible for carrying a burning brazier, something Polumeta requires to cast spells. She performed admirably in this task, and proved herself Brave in the face of magical terror.

Lindsey was abandoned unto carnival folk as a child. As a consequence, he grew up to be an ever smiling ne’er-do-well. Though versed in acrobatics, he tended to ply his skills in “working the crowds,” relieving all those unsuspecting rubes of their burdensome coin. What’s more, of all the child ushers, he was second to none. Alas, in time, the runaway child grew up and moved on. Once he was sixteen, Lindsey left the carnival act behind. For a spell there he roamed Mythic Scotland, rendering his services as a Footpad to score enough coin to survive. It was a living, but one with marginal prospects. Then, as luck would have it, he chanced upon Dalmellington. Dalmellington!, a town run by the village idiot; it was the perfect place to score and score big. He bided his time, pretending to soldier long enough to earn him a place as quartermaster’s assistant. In addition, he cozied up to the village idiot’s bastard heir, Brádach. First, this had been a tactical maneuver on his part; after all, who better to have in your corner when the shite hits than the biggest bloke in town to keep you nice and clean, right? But as time went on, he soon discovered that he liked Brádach well enough. As much as he hates to admit it, there is an easy come, easy go rapport between the two, almost as if the two were kin—least that’s what he likes to think. Lindsey has never had kin, so he wouldn’t know.
In spite his proclivities, Lindsey makes a point to avoid the Black Sheep, especially at night. Something about that place gives him the willies.
Marion the Scribe
Marion is the illegitimate daughter of an Irish nun, and was taught how to read and write by her mother. After her mother died, she tried to find work as a scribe but no one would hire a young woman. She came to the Hibernian Tribunal of 1221 in the hope of securing a contract with wizards, whom she had learned were egalitarian and didn't care about her gender. Alfeva noticed her beauty and, when she saw Marion's handwriting, hired her on the spot. Marion had to learn Magic Theory and improve her Latin, but has since copied books in the library with great natural ability.

Sir Robert the Fat
Robert is a landless knight and former Crusader, now in his middle age, who was recruited by Blane in early 1222 to act as drill sergeant for the turb. Robert is exceedingly corpulent and lazy, but friendly, funny, and good with people. In the winter of 1221 he had a heart attack and nearly died (Aging Crisis); since then his eyesight has not been as good. Robert can teach up to 25 soldiers at once, and his teaching total is 15 for a group. If teaching a single person, his teaching total is 21. He spent 1222 learning Latin and Gaelic.
