Sabastien filius Luise scholae Tytalus
Sabastien is an expert in sanctum intrusion; he is well known for this dangerous specialty among Quaesitores, Primi, and other Order officials. Most of his jobs target magi under Quaesitor investigation; sometimes a magus goes into Twilight and his sodales hire Sabastien to clear out the old sanctum and make it usable for a new magus. When magi become the target of Wizard War, they sometimes hire Sabastien as a consultant.
He is handsome, roguish, and lucky to still be alive, considering his chosen occupation. His Parma is one of the strongest in the Order and he has a number of "tricks of the trade" which he keeps secret but which are responsible for his continued success. He is an expert in Rego Vim magic.
Like all Tytali, Sebastien considers rules and laws to be an obstacle to personal growth and identity. He is a follower of Hippian ethics, however, so rather than flagrantly disobey the rules as a Callicean would, he delights in abusing technicalities, turning the law against itself, and then completely ignoring said laws as long as no one is watching. In the struggle between the two Primi, he is a passionate Fidelus, claiming that he was hired (by whom he will not reveal) to investigate Buliste's sanctum, where he verified that the Prima was still alive and only in Twilight. When asked why, if he had this knowledge, he did not reveal it when it would have been helpful, he shakes his head at the questioner's obvious ignorance. He wears a royal purple scarf to declare his loyalty to Buliste.
Sabastien is a competent debater in the House style, specializing in Folk Ken and Charm. He has been a magus for over four decades and it is past time for him to take an apprentice. So, naturally, he has claimed two, using them against each other to embody Tytalus philosophy. While a charismatic and attentive master (in the best Tytalus model), he is very bad in the laboratory. This, more than anything, is the reason for his choice of career, which keeps him visiting interesting places, stealing their stuff, and charging his clients prices which allow him to buy whatever he needs.
Early in his career, Sabastien bound a black Great Dane named Sicarius as his familiar. Sicarius is an ordinary Hound aside from his familiar nature. His cords were recently reforged to Gold +2, Silver +0, and Bronze +3.
