From Cliffhanger:
I am sorry it took me so long to write about the December Hash but I felt cheated since I finally found out there is no Santa Claus.
Mr. Santa Maria, who wore the customary Santa Claus suit, stopped traffic as he ran the course. This caused him to be 40 minutes behind the leader but his holiday popularity did not go unnoticed. However, since I did not get my gift that I requested from Santa, I came to the conclusion that their is no Santa Claus. Now that I have recovered from that devastation, I am ready to talk about the remarkable Hayama Hash conducted in December.
The crowd was the usual 10-15 hashers, although we are looking for more, provided a scenic route from Zushi station to Zushi Beach via backward hills and temples only to return to the same station 8 kilometers later. Why was that??? The sunset was the icing on the cake followed by Hayama's trademark unusual but delicious restaurant with their great wine.
If you missed it, don't be discouraged because H4 provides a monthly sample of beer, runs and great food. On-On and just a reminder.....there is no Santa Claus.
Thanks for nothing Santa Maria. Now shave that fake beard. Cliffhanger.
