This is a very important notice addressed to 4H HARES and OTHERS who

set trails in the HAYAMA area.

After some exhaustive negotiations by one of our hashers, Hayama Hash

House Harriers - 4H - have come to an amicable agreement with the

local police for a 500 meter exclusion zone around the Gyotei, the

Emperor`s Summer Palace This means that no chalk/flour/other trails

will be laid within 500 meters of the Palace, in effect, hashers are

totally excluded from this area. The zone includes the roads, paths,

houses, all other premises, etc. it extends along the beach front and

both ends. If laying trails near the 500m boundary we suggest extreme

caution so that hashers at checks or check backs do not enter the

exclusion zone under any circumstances. If in doubt please err on the

side of caution.

4H members have given their names to abide by this undertaking so it

is they who will be punished should anyone else break it. All other

hashes who run in the Hayama area are therefore bound by this

undertaking. We shall adopt a name and shame policy should there be

any infringement.

I shall post a memo to all GM`s of this and hopefully they will advise

hares accordingly; however it is hare`s responsibility to check their

trail against Google maps or other system to ensure that this rule is

rigidly adhered to.

これは４Hおよびその他のすべてのハッシュで葉山でトレイルを設定する際における重要

事項についての告知である。

某ハッシャ―の粘り強い交渉の結果、４Hは当地の警察と御用邸周辺より５００メートルの

回避ゾーンを設けることで合意した。これは、御用邸周辺より５００メートル以内でのチョー

ク、小麦粉他あらゆるトレイルを禁止するもので、すなわちハッシャ―はこの区域内には入

れない事を意味する。

この回避ゾーンには、道路、路地、住宅他建物、その他、海岸の前方、両端等に及ぶ。この

５００メートル境界域でトレイルを描く際には、どのような事態においても、ハッシャ―がチェッ

クやチェックバックをする際にその回避ゾーンに入らないよう細心の注意を払うことが望まれ

る。５００メートル以内か否か、疑わしい場合は、そこでチェックやチェックバックを設定しない

事。

この合意にあたり、４Hメンバーの氏名はすでに当局に報告してあり、もし誰かが、これを犯

した場合は、罰せられることになる。よって、葉山でハッシュを行う者、総ての者が、この合

意を順守する事し、この合意に抵触した場合は、その名前を公にするとのポリシーを採用す

る。

わたしはこの告知をGMたちに送付し、ヘアーにアドバイスするよう望むが、しかし、トレイル

が、新ルールを厳守したものか、グーグルマップやその他のシステムに照らし合わせチェッ

クするのはヘアーの責任である。
