Nocturna Soundtrack
The soundtrack for "Nocturna" was issued in 1979 by MCA Records on vinyl (double-album), cassette, and 8-Track. Track listings deviate on each release. Numerous remixes of both "Love Is Just a Heartbeat Away" and "Nighttime Fantasy" have been issued over the years, but the soundtrack has never been re-issued in its original format on CD. The inner gatefold and back cover both feature photos of Nai -- oddly, however, there are no photos from the film, and Nai's hair is curly, which it wasn't in the movie.

The version of "Love Is Just a Heartbeat Away (Nocturna's Theme)" that was featured in the film seems to have only been issued as a 12" DJ promo. The orchestration is slightly different in spots and there's a brief additional verse which doesn't seem to be included in any other release of the song:

Cuz I know you're here
From the love you've shown..."
