The Bubble

Later edited and misleadingly re-titled THE FANTASTIC INVASION OF PLANET EARTH (there's not an alien to be seen), the film tells the story of a couple who find themselves trapped in a mysterious town that's barricaded by an invisible wall. Originally shown in 3-D with gray-tinted glasses, the film was later reworked for the inferior red and blue 3-D in the '70s when it was retitled and nearly 20 minutes were cut. Sadly, I don't think the original version of the film has been seen since the late '60s. Admittedly this same premise was used on an episode of "The Twilight Zone" with a better script and in a fraction of the time, but I have a soft spot for cheesetastic movies like this one. The 3-D is not at all subtle... and neither is the acting. On DVD.
