Rabbit Test

Long before the governator got pregnant, Billy Crystal starred in this bizarre comedy as the world's first pregnant man. Rivers wrote, directed and has a minor cameo (which you'd think was bigger looking at any of the ads). Much like Rivers' previously-penned outing "The Girl Most Likely To...," this one is so bad it's good, but the gags are non-stop (someone on imdb appropriately pointed out that this pre-dates AIRPLANE) and there's an all-star cast. It's a one-note joke that sometimes isn't funny, but when it's good, it's great. Unfortunately it's yet to be released on DVD. Guess Joan figures she'll make more money hawking jewelry on QVC.

The film features appearances by Doris Roberts, Alex Rocco, Roddy McDowell, Norman Fell, Alice Ghostley, Paul Lynde, Tom Poston, Charlotte Rae, Joan Prather, Larry Gelman, Fannie Flagg, Imogene Coca, and Billy Barty.
