Nocturna Press

Not surprisingly, Nocturna is not a movie that got a whole helluva lot of press. At the time of its release it was pretty much ignored, except by columnist Earl Wilson, who liked Hollywood-social-butterfly Bonet and frequently covered her in his gossip column, "It Happened Last Night." Perhaps not so coincidentally, Earl Wilson Jr., co-wrote Nai's 1966 novelty song "Jelly Belly."

Bonet also shed her already-skimpy attire for men's magazine "Gallery" in an attempt to promote the film. Decades later, Nocturna wrangled herself a listing in "The Vampire Gallery: A Who's Who of the Undead" by J. Gordon Miller, but for the most part she has been glossed over and ignored in (the seemingly endless) publications about vampire films.
