There are no safe spaces with God, no hidden secret labyrinth whereby the wicked might find peace and rest, no respite for those who are burdened with guilt and abominable sin. There is forgiveness though, if you give up your sins willingly and take refuge in the name of Jesus Christ. He is come though not to send peace on earth but a sword.
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”

Jesus Christ will grind into powder all those who oppose him by keeping their debilitating sins and ignoring the warnings given to them in the Old and the New Testament of His word. By continually being spiteful and unrepentant, sinners stand the chance to lose not only their life to degradation and decay, but also are eligible to lose their immortal soul. The warnings are self-evident, and all who recognize their folly will repent of their evil ways. In the end, those who do not heed the warnings of Jesus Christ will say to the mountains to fall on them, and for the hills to cover them. They will not be able to sustain the painful remorse of their wickedness that a life of sin brings.
“And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”

“Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.”

Even the church is not a safe space, for God hears the secrets of your heart and sees the wicked deeds of your evil self. Where ever the Holy Spirit is there is also the burning of a red-hot sword of truth being plunged into the depths of an evil heart, purging out the uncleanness and giving life and salvation to a repentant soul. You will not stand before God in your wicked and abominable self, claiming righteousness in the midst of your evil deeds. There is no safe space in which to hide a sinful nature before God. The church is a sanctuary for the souls of those who have repented and learned of his meek nature to forgive those who have descended into the depths of sin. It is not a safe space for the haughty and belligerent, full of themselves and their fleshly lives that go against all the moral teachings of the scriptures in the Bible, writing over the commandments with their own selfish lusts. The church is the body of Christ, where all those who have gone on before reside after death, their souls within his Holy Spirit, waiting the coming day. You cannot join to Christ by simply calling out his name and claiming that you believe he exists, yet keeping your evil nature and holding onto your sinful life. The Nicolaitans talked about by St. John in the New Testament and the book of Revelation knew of Jesus Christ, yet they spitefully kept their sins, and their deeds were hated of God. Those who overcome their sins will eat of the tree of life.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

If it were true that Christians could be saved by keeping their sinful fleshly nature, then He would have told us so. To be saved one must give up the sins of the flesh and hold onto the spiritual things of God. He has given us his words to go by, and we must believe in the name of Jesus Christ and take his spiritual nature upon us, doing the things that are commanded in the gospel. A person cannot rewrite the messages given in the Bible to suit their evil sinful nature, exempting themselves from the result of an immoral life. The consequences of an immoral sinful life lead to separation from God. To be apart from God is death. The soul, the mind, and the body will die a sudden, if not eventual debilitating death from sin. There is no recompense for the wicked who are separated from God. There is no safe space to get away from God. He is all around us, permeating everything. The healing hand of God will touch your clean spiritual body, but the corrupt fleshly body must die away. For those of the fallen that once were in the depths of sin, who found the healing gifts of Christ and chose to live a spiritual life, yet turned back again to their old demonic ways, their end is worse than where they came from. When they return to their fleshly body, all the demonic carnivores of the air that seek them, the unclean spirits who are more wicked than themselves, will now find again their old earthly body.
23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth [it] swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh [to him] seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first.

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

When Jesus was in the temple with the scribes and Pharisees, and they brought unto him a sinful woman, ready to stone her for her sins, he asked if there was one without sin among them. They all left the woman and Jesus alone, because all had sinned. When he addressed the woman again and condemned her not, he did not say all she had to do was believe in him, because he was the light of the world. Even the Pharisees knew his name and who he was, yet their belief was in darkness and without substance. He specifically told her to go and sin no more. Those who truly believe will change their heart.
So, if we walk in our fleshly bodies, desiring the things of this world, we are the enemies of Christ, and there is no safe space. Our end will be destruction, and our god is that of desire and to consume, whose glory will be in shame. But our conversation, pathway, and soul is in heaven, if we look to the Spiritual life of Jesus Christ. If we believe on His name and follow in His footsteps, leading a spiritual life, and giving up our sins willingly, we will be saved and honored by Christ, for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but through him it might be saved.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/John-3-13_3-19/
Jesus must be lifted up, his words kept, and his pathway followed. You cannot believe on Jesus Christ and keep your sins. The condemnation is that light came into the world, but men loved darkness more than light, because their deeds were evil. If you keep your sins, your deeds are evil, and you have no light in Christ, and He has no light in you. The only "Safe Space" is within the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the body of the Church.
