When they come for you and ask you to say the words, will you deny Christ? How much do you love the savior of the world? There is no doubt that Christians are being tested more in these present evil days, than any time in the recent past. Not so long ago the Armenian Christians were being eradicated out of Turkey to make room for the new age of Islam. According to some estimates, about 1.5 million Armenians were systematically slaughtered in a 1915 genocide by the Ottoman Turks. Some were even crucified, and it was mostly hidden from the world. Even today the government of Turkey denies it happened, although there are eyewitness reports from those who lived through it and saw the slaughter with their own eyes.
Sometimes children give us the bravest examples of what to do when a Muslim terrorist comes to ask you to say the words and deny Christ. In the time of Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and acknowledge the extreme effect of benevolence he has had on the world. His teachings and his saving grace make such a difference in the lives of most Christians that they prefer death than to deny his love and deity. He is the Son of God, the spiritual perfection of God in the flesh on Earth, and there has been no other to conquer death and the grave in the history of humanity. All other prophets are still lying in the grave. The Wise Men from the East looked for a child who would guide the world to salvation. There are many instances of Christians who gave their lives to honor Christ, but four Iraqi children in 2014 serve as a great reminder to all who would take up the cross. They would not say the words that they would follow Muhammad, and as a result, they were immediately beheaded.

Islamic State painted a Nazarene symbol on the houses of supposed Christians as a mark of shame. It became a rallying cry and battle symbol to those who would not bend to evil. It much like the star of David that the Nazis in World War II made the Jews wear on their clothing and was also painted on their houses and places of business. The Nazarene symbol is the 14th letter of the Arabic alphabet and signifies the letter N.

Despite all that ISIS, Islamic State, tried to do, even though they killed thousands and thousands of Christians, displaced them out of their homes, targeted their families, and slaughtered their children, the Iraqi and Syrian Christians have not denied their Christian faith. They still take up their cross, daily walking with the Savior Jesus Christ. Let us at least claim our Christian Faith publicly and walk daily, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and keep his words always in our hearts.
“He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”
